This Privacy Policy explains how Nioret Systems LLC handles information when you use Nioret World.
1. Information you provide
This may include email address, authentication information, display name, handle, avatar, preferred language, optional country, profile and privacy settings, forum content, Community and World Lobby messages, private messages and groups, attachments, connection activity, reports, notifications, and account-management requests.
Country and language are separate profile choices.
2. Operational information
Nioret World may process account identifiers, timestamps, message and conversation identifiers, notification state, membership and role state, community join/follow state, moderation records, report status, rate-limit records, account lifecycle state, and technical logs needed for operation and security.
3. How information is used
Information is used to operate accounts and product features, provide translation, send transactional account emails, maintain notifications and unread state, enforce access controls, prevent abuse and manipulation, investigate reports, secure the service, provide account export/deactivation/reactivation/deletion, and comply with legal obligations.
4. Advertising and sale
Nioret World does not currently run advertising or paid promotion. Nioret Systems does not sell personal data to advertisers.
5. Service providers
Current infrastructure may include:
- Supabase for authentication, database, storage, and server-side functions;
- Resend for transactional email;
- Microsoft Azure translation services where translation is enabled.
6. Public information
Public profile information, Forum content, Communities, and World Lobby content may be visible to others.
7. Private messages
Private messages and private groups are restricted by access controls to authorized participants. Nioret World does not currently claim end-to-end encryption.
8. Translation
When translation is used, text may be processed by the translation service required to produce the translated result. Automated translation can be imperfect.
9. Safety and reports
Reports may include reported content, account identifiers, and related safety context. Moderation and safety records may be retained privately where reasonably necessary.
10. Transactional emails
Nioret World may send operational emails for signup confirmation, password recovery, secure email changes, account-security events, and account deletion.
11. Retention
When an account is deleted, Nioret World is designed to remove the active authentication identity, profile data, and avatar. Some records may remain for conversation integrity, moderation, security, abuse prevention, legal obligations, dispute handling, or technical integrity. Retained content may appear as “Deleted account.” Connections are severed; group ownership may be transferred or the group may be closed according to product behavior.
12. Your controls
Available controls may include editing profile information, changing language and privacy settings, changing email or password, downloading account data, deactivation, reactivation, deletion, blocking, and reporting.
13. Security
Nioret World uses authenticated sessions, row-level access policies, scoped server-side functions, and private storage rules. No system can guarantee absolute security.
14. Legal capacity and international use
Nioret World should only be used by people legally permitted to use the service in their jurisdiction. Information may be processed in countries where Nioret Systems or its service providers operate.
15. Changes
This policy may be updated as the service or legal requirements change.
